    Traditional ARIMA model is limited to process times series on non-stationary and non-normal distribution, which largely limited the application of this method in the prediction of runoff. Based on the monthly runoff data from 1970 to 2010 of Xihenzhen Station on Qingyi River, using the technology of singular spectrum anlysis to decompose the monthly runoff for extracting the significant T-PCs by the data from 1970 to 2007, and reconstructs the series into trend, long-time inter-annual, inter-annual, intra-annual series of runoff after noise elimination. Then using the ARIMA model to calibrate the parametes of each reconstructed series and predict the monthly runoff from 2008 to 2010, making a comparsion between measured and predicted Values for the test precision. The results show that SSA can effectively extract reliable information from the original series, filter out the noise and improve the forcast accuracy ot the tradional ARIMA model.

    The paper construct a distributed hydrological model SWAT in Zhujiang Basin to simulate the process of monthly runoff from 1951 to 2008 in Xijiang Basin, and using SWAT model with sensitivity analysis module and automatic rate module to analysis sensitivity, calibrate parameter and validate model for each parameter with the choice of LH-OAT sensitivity analysis method and SCE-UA method based on the monthly runoff data of three hydrological station, Qianjiang, Liuzhou and Wuxuan in Xijiang Basin. As it turned out, different parameters have different degrees of sensitivity for monthly runoff; CN2, ESCO, SOL_AWC, CH_K2, ALPHA_BF are most significantly, they are more sensitive factor; other parameters have no effect or little effect. According to the calibrated and verificated results, the simulation effect of three hydrological station is good, ENS is above 0.75, the ENS of Liuzhou station and Wuxuan station is both above 0.8 in calibration and validation period, the application effect of distributed hydrological model SWAT for monthly runoff simulation in Xijiang Basin is better.

    Abstract:The study on multi-scale periodic laws of precipitation can analyse its features and trends deep and provide a basis for the decision of water resources system. Taking Dongting Lake basin as study object, based on the precipitation data(1958~2009) of 11 representative rainfall stations, the multi-scale periodic features and trends of the annual precipitation of each station were analysed by wavelet analysis method, which spatial distribution pattern was analysed later. The results show that: the wavelet analysis method has unique advantages in multi-scale feature analysis and trend prediction in hydrological, meteorological and other non-stationary signal sequences. The multi-scale periodic features of annual precipitation are different in different regions in the Dongting Lake basin and there is distinct spatial distribution pattern, and the trends of annual precipitation in different regions are substantially the same, the basin will be in a rainless state as a whole.

    Yunnan province,with rich water resources, has been experiencing rigorous drought since 2009. The successive drought exposed and highlighted a paucity of the water conservancy facilities in this province. Reservoirs play an important role in flood and drought control, especially in the mountain area where the ecological environment is fragile. However, scientific location and layout of reservoirs are even more critical than the construction itself. This paper takes Lushui county, features typical alpine canyon landform, as a research model, while GIS based spatial analysis and hydrological analysis are adopted as research approaches. The paper tries to present a new spatial layout for reservoirs in Lushui country with much consideration of local geological conditions, river systems, residential distribution and demand for water distribution. New method for the location and layout work of the reservoir is innovated by this paper, which not be adopted as a way in allocation of water resources in Lushui, but also provides a guidance for the local government to build water conservancy facilities.

    Water security is the core issue of environment and development, and water security evaluation is the premise to solve water security problems. This paper establishes an evaluation index system of water security. The index system employs 5 subsystems (water circulation security, water environment security, water ecology security, water society security and water economy security) and has 39 indicators. Using AHP method, each indicator is given a relative weight to integrate the whole system. With the macroscopical data of China from 2000 to 2012, the model of water security evaluation is applied to assess the water security state of China. The results of evaluation provide significant preferences for China to maintain water security and achieve the sustainable utilizations of water resources.

    By planting different types of wetland plants in the 8th drainage canal of the Ulansuhai Lake, we constructed surface flow wetland to reveal control mechanism of lake exogenous pollutants. Monitoring data from 12 sampling site in May, July, September and November of 2013 were used to analyze the purification processes and efficiency of total nitrogen (TN) and total phosphorus (TP). Purification efficient induced by different aquatic plants configurations were compared to reveal the best configuration for external pollutants reduction. Results show that nutrient concentrations decreased along with the flow direction in the drainage. The average reduction rate of TN and TP are 22.5% and 21.6%, respectively, indicating good purification effects of aquatic plants. The overall purification efficient of the constructed wetland presents seasonal variations (July> September> May> November), which is consistent with the growth and metabolic activities of aquatic plants. Although purification efficient decreased with the direction of water flow, there are still some abnormal changes in different configuration segments. We hope the current study may provide a reference for lake exogenous pollutants control.

    In order to investigate the status of heavy metal pollution and edible safety evaluation in vegetables in tungsten pollution area of South China, total of 93 vegetable samples from rural households were collected. Pollution status and health risk of Cd, Pb, As and Zn were analyzed. The results showed that Cd, Pb, As and Zn were detected in three types of vegetable samples with the average content of 0.093, 0.043, 0.23 and 6.46 mg/kg wet. The single factor pollution index assessment showed that Cd in redskins vegetable was medium pollution and other metals were clean levels. The comprehensive factor pollution index assessment showed that metals in redskins vegetable was light level with the index of 1.74, and in cabbage and spinach were clean level with the indexes of 0.40 and 0.30. The mean of heavy metal THQ (Target Hazard Quotient) of vegetables from large to low was as follows: Cd>Pb>Zn>As. The compound health risk index was much higher than cabbage and spinach. Health risk of heavy metals from the intake of local vegetables was higher for children than adults.

    Abstract:Water resources optimal allocation is the main means to conserve water resources and the important protection of the ecological and clean small watershed construction. This essay takes the Bay of Qilong small watershed as an example, based on a co-ordination of supply and demand of the existing small watershed water resources, using PHABS IM mode and Penman formula to calculate the ecological water requirement. Then it takes ecological water requirement into the calculation of water resources demand, and makes the twice balance calculation. The twice balanced water is more suitable for the local present situation of water resources.Next step is to deduct the water distribution equation of the optimization model of crop and the water balance equation of the moist soil. According to the water shortage which is calculated by the equations and the twice balance, we can make optimal allocation of agricultural water in the Bay of Qilong small watershed, and adjust agricultural irrigation system in order to alleviate the local water shortage and provide the water source protection for the ecological and clean small watershed construction in the Bay of Qilong small watershed.

    Flood risk estimation is the precondition when research which flood detention is put to service. Based on the feature of flood detention basin’s using risk, a flood risk estimation system is established which including the using risk , economy risk ,social risk and the capacity of bearing disaster. And then use a mixed model to analyze the flood risk in the main stream of Huaihe river. According to result, flood detention basins in the main stream of Huaihe river are divided into five levels. All of the flood risk of detention basin lay on the level of high. seven seventeenths flood flowing districts ’s risk outpace the general level. Empirical analysis shows that the Flood risk estimation system and the method which based on the mixed model has a certain rationality.

    Based on information diffusion theory risk assessment model,the drought risk rate of the long time and the past 5 years in Chuxiong city of Yunnan province are assessed by adopting percentage of precipitation anomaly and standardized precipitation index. The result shows that the drought disaster risk rate is about 30% in the long history, and the frequency of drought is a litter high but the drought severity is not too heavy. The drought disaster risk rate is about 77% and heavy drought disaster risk rate reaches 20% in the past 5 years, and the frequency of drought is high and the drought severity is heavy. It is in line with the actual drought situation. Information diffusion theory assessment model can effectively reveal the change of the risk rate in extreme drought disaster situations, and this model can be used for drought disaster risk assessment under changing environment.

    The study regarded SWMM model as the simulation platform to establish the joint evaluation system for urban draining and prevent waterlogging systems in the research area.Based on the basic information platform, the study analysised the drains system simulation in the studied area combining with different return period rainfall process. It analyzed the bearing capacity of the drainage pipe network,water area, easy seeper point,water depth and water retention time under the different return period of design storm, and the urban flood control measures is given, In order to provide scientific evidence for flood control and emergency rescue plan. The simulation method in the study has a certain universality,so it can be used in other cities.

    Abstract:Under the background of promoting optimal allocation of water resources and constructing resources-saving type society, the harmony of water resources system and the social economic ecological system has been widely noted. The article uses principal component analysis to get the comprehensive evaluation index of water resources system and the social economic ecological system respectively, and then distance coordination degree is used to get the coordination degree between the two systems, and the research is used in Shandong province to calculate the coordination degree from 2001 to 2012. The results showed that the comprehensive evaluation index of the two systems is rising; Development of two systems is not synchronized but harmonious.

    Based on the match relationship between impeller and diffuser performance, a practical mathematical optimization model containing the parameters of the impeller and diffuser of multi-objective and multi-variable optimization was developed for a multi-stage centrifugal pump in this paper. The multi-variate multi-objective optimization model was solved numerically by using genetic algorithm toolbox in MATLAB. The results of the optimization includes primary design parameters such as the inlet and outlet diameters of the impeller, the inlet and outlet width of impeller, the number of impeller blades, the outlet angles of blades, the base diameter of diffuser, the throat size, the number of diffuser vanes, etc. The optimal results are verified by area ratio principal, indicating that the optimization method is practical and feasible.

    By using the rebound and compressive strength data of concrete experiment, the special rebound and strength curve is achieved for south-to-north water diversion project in Hebei Province. The POS-SVM prediction model has higher accuracy and faster running speed compared with the traditional exponential function and BP neural network. The result provides a strong theoretical basis and reference standard for south-to-north water diversion project in Hebei Province.

    In recent years, a wide range of prolonged drought-heavy rainfall has appeared in southwest China. Considering the surface layer cracks of loose deposit caused by the prolonged drought, based on the saturated - unsaturated seepage theory, the seep/w of Geo-studio was used for simulate rainfall infiltration under finite element method, slope stability is analyzed based on the transient seepage field by the slope/w module. The effect of different slope ratio(1:1,1:1.2,1:1.4)at a fixed depth of the cracks and rainfall on loose deposit slope stability is investigated. The results show that: The bigger of the slope ratio,the little safety factor falling range of the slope during the process and in the final, and it have more negative effect on slope stability. To the slope of loose deposit with prolonged drought-heavy rainfall, puts forward some counter measures which could provide reference for the slope design under the same conditions.

    Since traditional E/R model has some problems such a single type of data, not reflect the actual relationship between the data, no concept of inheritance and other issues, the object-oriented technology should be brought into existing relational data model to re-build the data base. The entire dam safety monitoring system (DSMS) is divided into three modules, conceptual graph is redrawn each part and gives the definition of the data model. Finally, the use of reconstructed database complete the new dam safety monitoring system, after comparison between the results of performance testing for the new system and the traditional relational model-based system. The performance of the new one is superior.

    As example of the leaking stoppage of expansion joint of Gaoqiao hydropower plant power house corridor , this article introduces the handling methods of using flexible composite in the leaking stoppage of expansion joint , it can be used to quickly handle not only the problem water leakage ,but also to ensure the normal opening and closing performance of expansion joint. Engineering applications indicate: this method can well sealing the water leakage of expansion joint as long as possible , provide a new method of expansion joint water leakage treatment in the same type of hydraulic structure.

    Due to the huge production and complex composition of sewage sludge and the in municipal solid waste incineration(MSWI)fly ash , more and more attention has been paid to the reasonable utilization of sludge. Based on the chemical composition of sewage sludge and MSWI fly ash, sludge ceramsite production experiments and heavy metal leaching experiments were studied. The results showed that with the increase of mixing amount of MSWI fly ash, compressible strength of sludge ceramsite increased firstly and then decreased, while water absorption showed an opposite trend. Meanwhile, the compressible strength of sludge ceramsite increased with the mixing amount of MSWI fly ash while water absorption the opposite. Besides, it was shown that the heavy metals in sludge and MSWI fly ash were properly stabilized in sludge ceramsite and the leaching toxic is far less than the national standard. It is pointed out that the recycling technologies for municipal sludge and MSWI fly ash are developing in the industrialization.

    In order to enhance the ability and alleviate the curse of dimensionality of multi-dimensional dynamic programming algorithm in solving the joint operation optimization problem of cascade reservoirs, it is an effective measure to combine this algorithm with the parallel processing technology. This paper proposed three parallel multi-dimensional dynamic programming algorithms based on. NET4 Parallel Extensions by using the stages parallel mode, state combinations parallel mode and hybrid parallel mode. A certain cascade reservoirs in china was used as the study instance in this paper, and a detailed contrastive analysis of the three parallel multi-dimensional dynamic programming algorithms on run-time, parallel speedup, parallel efficiency and memory usage had been carried out based on the calculation results. Results show that the parallel algorithms can effectively shorten the program run-time and alleviate the curse of dimensionality to multi-dimensional dynamic programming algorithm, but relatively, the state combinations parallel mode is the optimal, the hybrid parallel is suboptimal and the stages parallel mode is the worst.

    Abstract: Based on the model of Phillips-Heffron, combined torque analysis method with frequency characteristic of transfer function, the mechanism of turbine governing system’s impact on the power system synchronizing characteristics is described in this paper, and the conclusion is drawn that the impact is strongly dependent on the value of torque coefficients for the boundary synchronous torque of the turbine governing system; Then, the calculation method of the coefficient is proposed. From both of time domain and frequency domain, the influence of turbine governing system and its parameters is analyzed and verified. Finally, it comes to this conclusion that the governing system’s impact on synchronizing characteristics is strongly dependent on , and they have the same change trend; the maximum amplitudes of oscillation mainly depends on the value , too.

    Abstract: The internal energy dissipation which about high-pressure water pipeline is essential for water conveyance structure’s security. Based on the background of a water supply project in Liaoning Province. This paper studies the cone valve’s function in high-pressure water pipeline by the way of physical model test method. The study mainly from flow regime、flow rate of the flow section、pressure and so on aspects to get test results. Based on these results,it calculates the valve of final energy dissipation rate. The test results show that cone valve can release the energy of water when water conveyance structure is working in some degree. So it ensures the safety of pipes. The research findings can be of reference for similar projects.

    Abstract: The voltage stability of power grid-connected wind farms will be influenced by the wind power fluctuation and the strength of power grid. In this paper, the composition of wind power generation system and the model of the commonly used doubly fed wind power generator are introduced. The constant power factor and constant voltage control method of wind generator are comparatively analyzed. The simulation platform is established using PSASP, and the influences of wind power fluctuation on power grid voltage are calculated when two different control method are implemented respectively. The differences of voltage fluctuation characteristics caused by the wind power changes are studied when wind farms are integrated into the 110kV grid or 220kVgrid. Combined with the simulation calculation results, some suggestions of safe operation of the regional 110kV power grid-integration of the wind farms are given.
