    Abstract: In this paper, Populus bolleana were set six different irrigation gradients under field conditions, in order to observe water use of Populus bolleana under different irrigating treatments and its growth index. The results show that water consumption amount would increase as the irrigation amount increasing.Total water consumption amount of each irrigation treatment in accordance with the order from small to large during its growth period (from May to September ) were 568.28mm, 661.14mm, 790.72mm, 928.57mm, 1036.63mm, 1202.71mm; growth index such as ground diameter and new branch length were increased with the irrigation water amount gradually increasing,760mm irrigation levels increase significantly,above which has no significant grow. Combine with the current situation of water resources and conditions of agricultural production of Manas river basin,we give the irrigation schedule of 4 years old Populus bolleana preliminary:the irrigation norm was 7600m3/hm2, from May to September were irrigated once a month, June,July and August were irrigated twice, the total irrigation times during its growth period were 8 times, the irrigating quota was 950m3/hm2.

    order to summary up the successful experiences of construction and management about pilot project with water conservancy of pastoral area and objective assess the result that pilot project was carried out,an investigation was carried out in 36 pilot projects with water conservancy of pastoral area. The article analyses the existed problems for consolidating further achievement of construction with pilot projects and consummating the construction and management so that water conservancy of pastoral area will be worked out reasonable pattern, layout, direction and target of construction in the future,moreover it is to improve the ability of investment and the ability of management in construction with conservancy of pastoral area. Finally, it can provide the reference for making development of policy of water conservancy of pastoral area in Qinghai province.

    Evaluation of the efficient use of water resources for agriculture is the a prerequisite for efficient use of water resources for agriculture. From the general connotation of the concept of efficient use of water resources, Evaluation index system of agricultural water resources utilization can be constructed with the actual of Agricultural water resources development and utilization of the study area. At the same time, the principal component projection model with of advantages of classification and evaluation can be selected as evaluation method. The evaluation results of agricultural water resources utilization in 2008 in Hilly Ground of Middle Sichuan showed that the meaning of evaluation index is clear and objective, the evaluation model is simple. Evaluation of the efficient use of water resources for agriculture is to provide a platform for agricultural water resources utilization study in Hilly Ground of Middle Sichuan

    The hydrodynamic dispersion characteristic of soil is a key study project for the assessment of water environment in Puji.In this study, KCl was used as solute, the hydrodynamic dispersion coefficient(Dsh(θ)) of the unsaturated soil(red clay soil and yellow clay soil)in Puji were measured by horizontal infiltration method. Experiments result show that the hydrodynamic dispersion coefficient has a relation of power function with water content θ and the hydrodynamic dispersion coefficient of red soil is greater than that of the yellow one if they are with the same water contain.

    Water for the construction of ecological environment impact assessment is difficult to determine the scope of the problem, the use of remote sensing and fractal methods, building the basis for the construction characteristics of ecological systems, quantitative evaluation model, the number of ecological landscape patch fractal dimension calculation range of the basic framework for evaluation . Guanyin Hall hydropower project as an example, the application LANDSAT7TM/ETM + remote sensing data were interpreted, classified by various types of built-up areas of mold in the ecological environment, the value of ecological dominance, dominance pieces forest 92.37%, through a high degree of (Td86.62%, Tf92.32%), is the controlling ecological quality of the affected components of absolute advantage. Patch fractal dimension used to measure the results show that the shape of the construction activities on pieces simple, little difference in complexity, building a regional forest laws of the fractal fractal as a sign of the ecosystem was to determine the scope of the evaluation to reservoir inundation zone for the axis, east and west side of the 1,500 meters upstream to Zoumaling "V" type on both sides of 900 m deep valley and is relatively isolated ecosystems and regions, an area of about 67.4km2.

    Water transfer across regions and basins will take an important part in China’s water infrastructure construction in the future. In order to ensure the smooth implementation of project and obtain practical results, even to promote sustainable development of regions related, it should be attached great importance that how to coordinate the different interests associated with project construction. This paper focuses on the eco-compensation in water source area of Tao River water diversion project. By dividing the total compensation into two major categories as water resource protection and nature reserves, we use a simple method of cost calculation to calculate the theoretical value of the eco-compensation amount. We also analyzes the compensation mechanism in this case, and considers that,ⅰ.Market mechanism is difficult to ensure the full realization of compensation; ⅱ.The residents of water receiving areas cannot afford the compensation payments;ⅲ.Government compensation should be the dominant mechanism; ⅳ.The best carrier of government compensation is to carry out large nonprofit ecological projects.

    Based on the analysis of hydrogeology condition and Paleogeographic conditions of the brine mining area in research area,the article studies the salt accumulation process of the brine, on the basis of the monitoring data on water quality, formation and evolution laws of natural brine are revealed from two aspects of time and space scales by using ways of ion proportional coefficient method, PHREEQC hydrogeochemical modeling and isotope analysis for the rational development and utilization of underground brine resources Weifang in the coastal region of North Weifang. It is considered that the formation of underground brine is controlled by conditions of evaporation, recharge and storage, evolution process of brine is restricted by hydrogeochemical process of evaporation and concentration effect, water-rock interaction, ion exchange capacity, desulfurization acids and mixing effect. It is showed that formation process of the brine resource is a long period and we must exploit it in appropriate amount.

    Abstract:The spiral flow in the horizontal pipe, as a new sediment transport method, the flow characteristics can make the pipeline transportation with advantages of high concentration, low energy consumption, long-distance transport and non-deposition. Based on the test, this article mainly studied and researched the flow characteristics of the continuous rotation in the horizontal pipe which produced by the spiral flow local generator, obtained the flow field of the continuous rotation after the exit section of the spiral flow generator: The tangential velocity of the velocity field on the test section with a rotative symmetry, if without considering the impact of the near-wall region of the wall, the tangential velocity can be considered showing a linear distribution on the section, and with the flow increasing, the tangential velocity is also increasing; with the distance increasing, the tangential velocity decreases gradually.

    Abstract: Abstract: Aiming at the ecological environme and unique water resources situation of Yunnan plateau lakes , to construct the stress response model basing on the plateau lake water resource vulnerability evaluation index system, Take water changes of Yuxi City nearly 30 years as example, using of the evaluation method of integrating to analyzed and assessed plateau lake water resource vulnerability The results show that the Water resources vulnerability degree is of moderate from 2005 to 2007, and presents some fragile deterioration, indicating current plateau lake water resources carrying capacity, regional economy, social development and ecological environment protection exist significant amlposition , water environmental protection and comprehensive renovation should be strengthened.

    Abstract: The article in view of same turbid flow isolation device---shuttle-conical tube adopt mud flow orifice and mud pipeline two different mud ways, taking into account the different dip angle of shuttle-conical tube affect mud water consumption rate,mud concentration rate and "water" out of water and sediment concentration carry out water dynamic settlement.The ruslts show that: the mud water consumption, concentration ratio and "water" out of water are closely related with the mud way.Shuttle-conical tube utilize mud pupline , it’s sediment concentration is higher than mud flow orifice and mud concentration rate up to 5 times,the consumption rate is only 10% or so,only 20% of orifice mud consumption rate.The dip of shuttle-conical tube is small impact to consumption rate and concentration.When dip is 60 degree,the consumption is minimum and the concentration is maximum.To ensure smaller consumption and more overflow,the way of mud is key factor.

    In this paper, five typical water conditions of pipe tee have been given.Theoretical analysis method was used to study the water hammer characteristics under the different working conditions of isodiametric tee, it obtained Water hammer wave propagation rules under different working conditions; Then for typical reservoir -- tee -- the valve distribution system, adopting characteristic line method to verify results with theoretical analysis, and the results are consistent. Research shows that it will have a larger head when the two end of the valve is closed at the same time, so we should take appropriate protective measures in the actual project.

    FEM based on the transient temperature field method is applied to analyze the temperature field of Yudongxia arch dam during both construction and operation periods, considering factors such as cement hydration, construction schedule, air temperature, water temperature, etc. According to the result of the temperature field, thermal stress conditions of the dam with and without contraction joints are studied. The result shows that by placing necessary contraction joints, tension stress of the dam is greatly released, which will markedly support the dam’s anti-cracking ability.

    It is an effective and economical in the renforce managements to sick and dangerous reservior that ripped-rock weights the dam toe on the upstream of the dam. However, The toe weight length and height values are not difined in the criterions and design handbook, and its effect to the dam stability is unclear. To solve this problem,we disscussed the size of the riprap toe weight against to the anti-slide safety coefficient on the base of YangZhuang reservoir project through simplified Bishop method; It shows that the length of the toe weight should be during 0.45~0.55 times of the dam height; and the height of the toe weight should be more than 0.19 times of the dam height,the more high the more safety coefficient,But can not beyond 30 percent of the dam height.

    Evaluation of crack resistance of concrete is an important indicator of concrete durability, ultimate tensile and drying shrinkage deformation are the main indicators of concrete cracking, fly ash has been widely used in project construction because of its excellent performance. This paper based on the actual project to study the 80% fly ash content concrete ultimate tensile and shrinkage deformation and other properties, analyze the mechanism of fly ash, The results showed that: high volume fly ash concrete shrinkage rate increased with the increase of fly ash continue to decrease; With the increase of fly ash, 60d age of the tensile strength and compressive strength higher or closer to the benchmark of concrete; comprehensive consideration of ultimate tensile and shrinkage deformation and other factors, high volume fly ash concrete can improve the crack resistance of concrete.

    Based on the theorem of saturated-unsaturated infiltration and the strength theory of unsaturated soils, developed the numerical model of slope stability subjected to rainfall is, a strength reduction method, which could consider the influence of seepage load changed in saturated zone, of slope stability analysis is presented. It is applied to the deformation calculation and stability evaluation of a left bank abutment slope in Lechang gorge in Guangdong Province. It showed that the range of unsaturated zone would decrease;the pressure water head would increase and the transient saturated zone would appear because of the strong rainfall. The factor of safety of engineering slope would decrease due to the seep load changed in the saturated zone, but just because of the excavation of slope makes the slope angle flat and the low permeability coefficient of the strong weathered in the upper layer, so the slope will still remain stable.

    Long-term compensation resettlement is an innovative model that appears in the current situation when faced with lots of challenges. With the implementation of facilitating reservoir construction and promoting the resettlement of reservoir migrants, there are also many social risks, which are mainly divided into the following three aspects. First, Loss of land, change of income vector, employment difficulties and increasing daily expenses will cause the risk of poverty. Second, the change of residence and career may lead to the collapse of original social networks and the shortage of development resources and the different standards of compensation make the network reconstruction difficult, which will pose a risk of the failure of social networks. In addition, lack of legal support, the uncontrollability of production and operation and gradual increase of payment shock will cause the risk of cash payment. All these potential risks may hinder the migrants’ adaptation and development in resettlement areas; induce the psychology of social vulnerable groups, the failure of re-socialization, the return of migrants and the lack of social cohesion.

    While a hydropower station is in transition process, the unsteady flow in the tailrace surge tank has been simulated using the method of CFD. In this paper, the surge wave and the bottom plate pressure difference are the focus of concern in the 3-D numerical simulation. There are three turbulence models having been used respectively to simulate the unsteady flow. Compare those results with the data that have been got through the model experiment and the 1-D numerical simulation, we can illustrate the differences between the three turbulence models while they are used to simulated the transition process. Combined with the advantage that the 3-D numerical simulation can capture the information of internal flow field, we are also able to explore the situation of free surface and flow regime in the surge tank through the entire wave process.

    A new network reconfiguration approach with distributed generations (DG) is presented for minimum power loss and switches operation times in which the comprehensive outlay is taken for objective function and the optimal structure of distributed network can be found through the refined adaptive genetic algorithm .At the same time the coding method based on the loop is adopted ,which greatly reduces the infeasible solutions produced during genes algorithm operations in the application of distribution system reconfiguration. The test conducted on IEEE69-bus system shows that with this method not only can the power loss be reduced, but also the voltage profile can be increased.

    On the basis of the existing hydrological data and meteorological characteristics of Danjiangkou watershed, the whole watershed was divided into 12 unit zones and the rainfall-runoff correlation model was established, which was applied to the short-term flood forecast system in Danjiangkou reservoir. In addition, the correction technique based on the variable forgetting factor recursive least square algorithm was adopted to correct the flow process of the forecast in real time. The calculation results showed that the predicted flood process based on the rainfall-runoff correlation model was basically the same with the actual process. Meanwhile, the pass rate of flood peak value and flood peak occurrence time was preferably high. It is proved that the forecast accuracy of this model was relatively high, demonstrating that the model can provide a more precise rainfall-runoff forecast for flood control departments.

    Abstract: Using the basic function of Programming Solve Method in Excel, this article solves the problem of how to decide operating points of pumps. First, using Parabola equation H=A1+B1Q+C1Q2 to show the flow- lift curve ,using equation H=Hst+h loss to show the need head curve of pump system. For the operating points of pumps , the head H of pump is equal to need head H. According to this theory, first give the initial value of the flux and use the calculating function of Excel, and then write down the computational formula of pump head、need to head and the flux, and finally calculate head and need head of the water pump. Using the programming solver in Excel and the relevant theories operating points of pumps , the operating points of pumps in kinds of complex condition can be accurately and quickly solved. Comparing this method with the traditional graphical method and mathematical method,it is more quick and accurate.
