    By imposing different lower limits of soil moisture on potato grown in the field, the effects of different soil moisture treatments on morphological index, water consumption and yield of potato were studied. Then the water consumption coefficient and water use efficiency (WUE) of different treatments were analized. The results showed that the plant height and leaf area index (LAI) of potato changed in the same trend under different treatments, which reached the highest with WM treatment. Modulus of water consumption generally showed the trend of increased first and then decreases, and affected by soil moisture, they were differences at each treatment. Water consumption intensity of potato increased and then showed a downward trend in the whole growth period, and reached the highest (5.80mm•d-1) at tuber formation stage. There was a certain threshold value range of WUE which was the lowest by WH treatment and highest (6.05 kg/mm)by WM treatment. Coefficient of water consumption increased with increasing water consumption, but the highest value does not correspond to the highest yield. The results would provide basis for determining reasonable irrigation, saving water and increasing yield of potato.

    On the basis of standard k–εturbulent model and time-averaged Navier-Stokes equation, three-dimensional non-structural tetrahedral mesh and the SIMPLEC method is adopted, the numerical simulation of self-priming pump is conducted on the platform of commercial CFD software Fluent. During the process of numerical simulation which analyzes the pump performance under different working conditions, the velocity and pressure distributions are obtained. The result reveals the properties of the inner flow inside the self-priming pump and the flow principle. At the same time, the test equipment and test method are introduced to obtain the explicit performance. The computation results are compared with the corresponding experiment results. The simulation can provide a theoretical basis and the result is also useful for the optimum design of the self-priming irrigation pumps.

    Based on the observed data of the water content and the root distribution of maize under controlled alternative irrigation,a two-dimensional soil water dynamic model is established. A comparison between simulated and measured soil water contents shows that mean square deviations are 0.029cm3/cm3 to 0.038, the average relative errors are 5.26% to 7.85%. Therefore, the model is highly precise during different growth stages of maize. It can be used to predict soil water movement serving for controlled alternative irrigation.

    The Beiyunhe River Basin is selected as a case study. According to an analysis of data from statics and survey, the pollution load and the contribution rate of main non-point source pollution are fixed. This paper presents the corresponding pollution control measures to settle the major problems. Results show that the biggest contributor of CODcr pollution load is household refuse, accounting for 38%. The biggest NH4+-N pollution load was agricultural production,accounting for 43%. Livestock breeding contributed the most to the pollution load of the area, and 53% to the TN and 74% to the TP.. The pollution load of Tongzhou District and Changping District are significantly higher than that of other districts.

    Using grey system theory to research relationship between Chlorophyll-a and environmental factors in wuliangsuhai lake was done in the present study. The effects of physical and chemical factors on chlorophyll-a in wuliangsuhai lake, were evaluated by using of the gray connection method, providing a row order of those effects, and creating the “advantage factors” that exhibited the greatest effects on chlorophyll-a in wuliangsuhai lake, including temperature、illumination、 EC、SD.

    For a long time, the serious water-pollution and water-shortage problem in Huai river basin is one of the important factors which are restricting the sustainable development of local society and economy. Based on discussing the guiding ideology, structural principle and general plan of area developmnet mode, five kinds of development modes and the corresponding assessment indexes are put forward, and the corresponding assessment index system is designed. Combining with the actual situation of Huai river basin, the sustainable development mode of 71 units in Huai river basin has been chosen, which is very significant to guide the future economy and society development.

    In rape flower-pods stage, test-pit experiments were conducted to study yield factor changes under waterlogged condition. The results indicated that the relative yield of rape had a significant negative correlation with integrated waterlogging depth SFEW30 (R2=0.9798). the range of yield reduction increases with increasing flooding duration,waterlogging leads to decrease of effective pod number,1000-grain weight decreasing and yield reduction while waterlogging has little effect on plant height and effective branch. The rape (Brassica. napus L) tolerance of flooding is about 5 days in the Experimental soil. To avoid great yield reduction of rape, the value of SFEW30 in rape flower—pods stage should be contro11ed about 65 cm•d.

    Considering materials and constructs for anti-seepage anti-heave is more and more important nowadays.The compound geomembrane composite geo-membrane owns the advantages of high anti seepage and strong ability to adapt to deformation; with the nano-powders as admixture, the concrete's performance, such as anti-permeability, antifreeze and economical efficiency are all improved a lot. This article use finite element analysis software ADINA, carries on the temperature field, the distortion field and the stress field simulation analysis to it, has studied liner plate's heave distortion and the normal frost heaving pressure and the tangential frost heaving pressure distribution rule, and analyzes liner plate's stress and the destruction rule; Through with the plain concrete lining work contrastive analysis, pointed out that uses the asphalt concrete and flexible enhancement coating material and so on flexible the anti-seepage anti-heave materials not can only cause liner plate's heave quantity and the frost heaving pressure is evener, moreover distorts through the release, may cause its normal and the tangential frost heaving pressure reduces 30%~48%, but the active control lining work channel heave destroys, suggestion promotion application,which can provide some suggestions for optimization structure and materials.

    The behaviors of dynamic strength of the loess in different regions(LanZhou, LuoChuan, GongYi, YangLing) were studied with the dynamic torsional shear test and the research showed that: The dynamic strength characteristics of the loess in different regions from strong to weak were YangLing>GongYi>LuoChuan>0LanZhou,the main rules of Geo-spatial distribution tended rising from the northwest to the southeast; The dynamic strength point located the place that between Lade-Duncan curve and Tresca curve. Xing Yichuan、Matsuoka-Nakai and Mohr-Coulomb failure condition are less than the curve of experimental values; The dynamic strength indexes cohesion Cd and friction angle φd all declined with the cycle time increased, and the sharp decrease of cohesion Cd was the main reason for the loess torsional shear failure.

    Yangjiang pumped-storage power station is the forth pumped-storage power station constructed in Guangdong province after Guangzhou, Huizhou and Shenzhen. This paper studies hydraulic characters of inlet/outlet in upper or lower reservoir with physical model, analyzes operations and velocity distributions in inlet/outlet of origin design based on several measured hydraulic parameters under power generation and pumping runs (i.e. velocity index, discharge distributions of channels, head loss in inlet/outlet and vortex character), and proposes an operation solution that fits demands of origin design.

    Geological conditions of dam foundation in Xiaoxi Hydropower Station are extremely complex. Due to the regional faults along river flow direction and the two arch structures, the dam foundation exists major geological problems in sliding stability, foundation settlement and uneven settlement, foundation seepage and deformation, and slope stability, etc. During the foundation treatment course, lots of jobs in field tests and study, theoretical calculation and analysis, optimization of physical conformation and construction techniques have been performed. The adopted comprehensive treatment measures have achieved satisfactory results both in techniques and economy.

    An unconventional blasting demolition project is adopted in the upstream cofferdam of water-diversion tunnel in Xiluodu hydropower station to accelerate the construction plan. After blasting demolition, the complicated pulsation pressure and dynamic responses at the gate of water-inlet are produced under the function of enormous impact load. Through locale monitoring, the value and change law of pulsation pressure and dynamic responses at the gate of water-inlet in Xiluodu are analyzed. The feasibility of the construction plan is validated. It can be used as reference for the future similar construction.

    Upriver surge chamber in JinPing secondary hydropower station of Yalong River is the biggest differential surge chamber in the world. The tunnel is long and the quotative discharge is large. The clapboard of riser and the soleplate of big well endure an enormous pressure which will be 60~70 water head. So the difficulty of this architectural design leaps into the front ranks of the world. In this paper, we proposed two schemes for the structure and carried out three-dimensional linear and nonlinear finite element analysis by means of the well-known FEA software-ABAQUS. The distributions of stresses and cracks and the bar arrangement drawing are obtained. The result showed that the proposal 1 is more advantageous than the proposal 2 and can be applied to actual projects.

    The mobile pump is a new kind of portable machine designed for irrigation and drainage jobs,which has been followed with interest since the last ten years.It is different from the traditional mobile pump house,and it is designed for highly mobile and easy operation ,it also can be towed to wherever agricultural irrigation, storm drainage, de-watering, emergency pumping are needed.In this article,there are statements of its advantages,analysises of its features,and comparison between varieties.Meantime,there are some advices by author to make the mobile pump more perfectly.

    Due to historical reasons, the price of water supplied through the water supply project is relatively low, which leads the new project doesn’t work properly. The price that is measured is not feasible unless we find the balance between the cost of investment and the capacity of the users.To make the price of water supplied from Dahuofang reasonable and operable, the price is measured under the premise of meeting the need of investment recovery and working properly from the point of view of the supplier.The capacity of the residents and the industry is analysed according to the current economic growth rate.Reasonable price is calculated and suggestion is made considering the interests of both supply and demand,based on AHP.
