    Based on the work of predecessors, the lateral 2-D sediment numerical model is adopt to analysis the plunging inflow as the changes of the reservoir bottom slopes. The results show that, the of plunge point, the plunge depths and the creeping time of plunging inflow depend on reservoir bottom slopes——the bigger the slope, the bigger of plunge point while the water depth, density flow thickness and the time is smaller.

    The paper established the water resources system simulation model in the assessment basin based on the MIKE BASIN software. From establishing model, inputting data, parameter calibration, simulating model, outputting data and case study, the error between simulated and observed flow and the typical year method results with minor error, and MIKE BASIN software can be promoted in the assessment of water-draw and utilization of the construction project and provide support in actual work.

    With the development of economy, many rural rivers have been occupied, and have been badly polluted so that ecological functions of these rivers have been destroyed. So it is important to use ecological method to treat water environment and structure of these rivers. Treatment models of water environment include recycling treatment model, optimizing treatment model and multi-scaling treatment model. Treatment models of structure have natural treatment model, engineering treatment model and landscape treatment model.

    Combined with a pump station, which is located in Zhen Jiang City, 3D finite element model of the large block-based pumping house structure is set up in the paper, in which the spatial element model is adopted to simulate the structural characteristics under the loads of each condition. According to the maximum of the displacement and stress and their location, this paper analyzes the stress and displacement conditions of the pumping house substructure. By means of the analysis of the typical nodes in the chosen sections, this paper appraises the whole structural design of the pumping station. In the general postprocessor of ANSYS, the values and locations of the maximal tensile stress can be acquired. Through the analysis of the chosen typical section, the main locations of biggest tensile stress could be got, and the reasons causging the tensile stress are analyzed, which could be the reference to the structural reinforced design in the similar type of the large-scale block-based pumping station.

    Because of phenomenon that earth-rockfilled dam were always damaged seriously in earthquake, the method of using earthquake insurance to transfer the earthquake risk during construction period and operation period is applied in this paper. Then, the preliminary research on earth-rockfilled dam engineering earthquake insurance premium rates based on earthquake risk analysis and evaluation is pointed out, and the earthquake insurance mode which fits our country’s earth-rockfilled dam is also proposed.

    Degree of Saturation of soil can be calculated by testing indices such as water content, unit weight and specific gravity. In practice, Study found that saturation degrees of cohesive fill of inundated embankment are usually more than its true values. This paper discussed the distribution of gravitational water and loose bound water around the soil pellet and analyzed the reaction between bound water and soil granules. Results indicated that it was the loose bound water vaporized from the soil that caused this error. Based on the soil mechanics theory, the sketch model of two phases of full saturated soil is established and the formula is deduced. Study shows that there is a distinct linear relationship between degree of saturation and loose bound water evaporated from the full saturated fills.

    Since the "5.12" Wenchuan earthquake, a large part of little and medium-sized reservoirs which were built in the 1950s and 1960s in earthquake-stricken area was in danger, or even dam-break. For these high-risk reservoirs, if we can put forward a comprehensive emergency treatment options, we will avoid big economic losses, although it can pave the way for reinforcement. This article takes some reservoirs which the writer has been in design for typical to talk about the contingency plans for reservoirs by earthquake-damage. It’s hoped that this can be extended to other earthquake-damaged reservoir of risk-elimination of the contingency plans for the design study.

    Event tree method is a common method of dam risk analysis. The key problem is to determine the possibility of Dam-break in every link. Thought on historical statistic method and reliability analysis method for the limitation, this paper makes a study on Event Tree Method based on Fuzzy Numbers. Application of fuzzy numbers and operation can transforms the qualitative judgment of experts for the probability of dam-break in every development link as the quantitative probability well, thus determine the Dam-break probability by Event tree method.

    This paper analyzes the basic circuit structure, the operational mechanism and the state of a magnetic-saturated controllable reactor. Based on this, the operational characteristics, which mainly contains controllable characteristics and harmonic characteristic, are theoretically analyzed in details. Then, the nonlinear function relationship between the output currents and the firing angle of the GTO connected with the controllable winding of the controllable reactor is obtained. By the detail simulation for a small-capacity industry model machine, this paper obtains the more detail operational characteristics on the response and harmonic characteristics to the saturated degree. The simulation results are consistent with the theoretical analysis, which verifies the correctness and accuracy of the established simulation model, and further represents that this kind of controllable reactor has a well operational characteristics, that is, its controllable performance is good and the distortion factor of its output currents is low. The research results of this paper have a certain theoretical and practical meanings for the engineering design and operational analysis of the magnetic-saturated controllable reactor.
